For issue 37, the Pom Pom Magazine team asked designers to draw inspiration from the alluring textures and glorious colors of birds.

So taking inspiration from birds, they spread their wings! Their interpretations of this theme were extraordinary as they thought so carefully about every aspect of these animals: from the shape of their footprints in the snow to their formations in the sky. Within the pages of the Summer 2021 collection, you can expect nine designs that are as elegant and dynamic as the flying creatures they reference. Fiona Churchman blew us away with her recipe for Feather Bread (a coconut milk loaf) inspired by the treats she used to buy from bakeries in London’s Chinatown before lockdown!
