Knitting Academy: Basic Course with Circular Needles
If you've never knitted before and want to start, or if you know how to knit with straight needles and want to switch to circulars, this is the right course for you!
During the course you will start with my guide the “ Carruggio ” collar that presents a simple alternation of knit and purl stitches and stocking stitch bands. This type of work will allow you to acquire the basics of knitting and discover the advantages of working in the round.
Using circular needles has countless advantages and once you have learned the continental knitting technique (using your left hand to hold the yarn), the round binding, the knit and purl stitches and a few small tricks, you will be able to create seamless collars, hats, sweaters, socks and gloves.
During the course we will create the “ Carruggio ” neck, worked with the 10.00mm needles and 40cm cable and with a simple alternation of knit and purl stitches it will allow you to acquire the basics of knitting and discover the advantages of working in the round.
The course consists of a two and a half hour lesson. :

Online courses and KALs are held via Zoom. After purchase you will receive all the details by email to access.
Our Workshops take place in our Laboratory in Turin. To participate, you just need to buy your place and show up at the venue on the day and time of the Workshop. The materials will be provided there.
Our patterns are digital PDF files that you can download once your purchase is complete and view on any device.
