They tell me that since I was a child I was enchanted by the spools of thread that my grandmother still keeps in her tartan-patterned tin box. That thread so thin and colorful could work miracles with a little inventiveness and the needle guided by the expert hand of the grandmother.

I think this was the real beginning of a passion that led me to open Wool Crossing.

As a teenager I watched Mrs. Dora knit and I couldn't resist asking her to teach me. I also wanted to be able to transform a thread into something to wear, and I immediately realized that in addition to the pleasure of knitting, it was very pleasant to do it in company, so in 2008 I decided together with a friend, Tiziana, to organize the first Knit Cafè in Pisa, and that's how Knittable was born. We started out as two but soon many other knitters joined us and the afternoon together became an unmissable weekly appointment because in addition to the advice and the comparison with other enthusiasts, beautiful friendships were created.

Hence the idea of opening Wool Crossing, the yarn shop in Turin where “crossings on wool thread” will flourish.

I'll be waiting for you at Wool Crossing!
